This purchase was a twofer

Needed textbook for both precalc and trigonometry class. My Trig class uses chapters 4-6 and MyMathLab and my Precalc class uses the remaining chapters and not the MyMathLab. My trig professor is horrible at teaching the fundamentals, but Blitzer lays down all the necessary details where, I believe, some people may be able to teach themselves. My purchase included the CDs in the back of the book, which goes over in great detail how to work each question on the chapter tests. It was supposed to come with the access card as per the listing, but wasn't in the book or the box. I contacted the seller and they had it out almost immediately, hats of to them.
I would dock a star because I am not fond of Pearson's MyMathLab. It's not like MyChemLab where you can manually work out the problem in the box, they only give multiple choice options, which is less than ideal. However, my last issue could be with how my trig professor configured MyMathLab. Therefore, I will not dock a star for the unknown factor. Overall, one of the best math textbooks I have used, just wish Blitzer would write one for Calculus... next semester's math class.

Questionable Packaging

Hello, today I received my textbook after ordering it from this specific selling link. The hardback textbook was in plastic wrap, but the plastic had been partially torn. The opening is about 7 inches in length and on the front. What I am concerned with is whether or not the MyMathLab access code card was removed. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be in between the pages or outside the book.
Would you be able to tell me if the code is found within the book or was it set on top of the book then plastic sealed?

Code Card no good!

The book is fine, but don't think you will have access to MyMathLab! The code card has already been opened and previously used, making it void for anyone else. BEWARE, you will have to purchase access to MyMathLab separately!
