A real back saver!

I rented this book for my first semester of Physics. The rental was the full book, hardback, and I wound up injuring my arm trying to lift my backpack in and out of my car! It took six months of physical therapy to get my range of motion back. Science and math textbooks are some of the heaviest in existence.
For the second semester of Physics, I got wise and purchased this loose leaf version. I only took the chapters I needed to take with me to school. No more arm injuries!
Be advised that these pages are prone to tearing, since they're just paper with three holes punched into them. The holes are not reinforced in any way. Use a sturdy binder to protect them and be careful when turning the pages. You'll need a 3 inch binder for permanent storage of this textbook, if you plan to keep it.
I enjoyed having the ability to integrate notes and homework into the textbook as I went.

Exactly as Advertised

This was the required book and it worked out just as expected. I usually don't take more than three chapters with me, which is a benefit of the looseleaf version.
If you're using this for self teaching or having trouble in class make sure you go back and read the section, not the example questions. The text often contains simpler formulas than the examples.
