Excellent algebra and trig book

I used this book for a college algebra, and a college level pre-calculus course. This book contains curriculum for both courses, as precalc is mostly trigonometry. There are even chapters towards the end of the book outside of the realm of traditional trigonometry. This book is so well written. I know because I am reading, and have read, other math textbooks. The writing is very logical. The explanations have great flow, and, seeing as it is a math text, it is still a great read. Another tip...stay away from anything stewart when it comes to math. I am currently looking for a SUllivan calculus textbook as this book ws so good. I actually read the text with my class. If you plan to do the problems I suggest you purchase the solution manual. This text has helped me to become much more mature when it comes to math, and I really feel like I am ready to face calculus.

Pretty good at explaining everything

I got this as a textbook for an Algebra 1 class (college level) and found that I could learn most concepts solely from reading this textbook, with little to no explanation needed from the teacher. If you want to learn these concepts, this is a pretty good book to use.

everything was great. timely and good condition. Though, I returned the book because I was able to borrow one from my friend. My math lab basically replaces the book thus far anyway. might be handy in the near future though!
