About the Author
Joel Hass is Professor of Mathematics at the University of California at Davis. He has held fellowships from the Sloan Foundation and the National Science Foundation.
Maurice D. Weir is professor emeritus at the Naval Postgraduate School. He began his teaching career at Whitman College, and then in 1969 became a professor of mathematics at the Naval Postgraduate School, where he also served as associate provost for instruction. Dr. Weir's research and teaching interests include combat systems modeling and simulation, mathematics education, mathematical modeling, and differential equations. Professor Weir won the Outstanding Civilian Service Medal from the United States Military Academy in 1986 and the Schieffelin Award for Excellence in Teaching at the Naval Postgraduate School in 1983. Professor Weir retired from teaching in 1999 but is still actively engaged in writing mathematics textbooks. He received his M.S. and D.A. degrees from Carnegie-Mellon.

This solution manual I received does not even start until ...

This solution manual I received does not even start until Chapter 9, description states chapter 1-10. Didn't help me at all because it did not cover any of the chapters we are covering in Calculus right now.

Gives you answers you already have

Please be careful when ordering this solution manual. It does NOT contain the solutions to all the questions in the book.
I got this thinking that it had the solutions to everything on the book BUT it will only have the answers for the odd questions in the book. And by odd I mean the difference between EVEN and ODD numbered questions in the book.
I don't get why this would even be made since the answers for the odd questions are already in the book itself in the back.
I'll be returning this soon.

Ya its a book that gives you the ans. I found some mistakes in it and some of the way the go about finishing the problems are just silly and over simplified.
