This student workbook isn't helpful to understanding the corresponding textbook Physics for Scientists and Engineers: A Strategic Approach, Vol. 1 (Chs 1-15) (3rd Edition). If it's not a requirement for your class, I wouldn't get it. Some of the problems are helpful but you can just find them online and WITH THE ANSWERS. There are no answers to this workbook so it's hard to know if you're doing something correctly!

Don't buy this product unless you like to do a lot of drawing and writing. I ordered this and was very disappointed in that it did not pertain to the type of work that we were doing in solving problems! My instructor had told me that the solutions manual is better suited for working problems and I have to agree!
